Hi everyone!
Sorry but we are in Raglan and so can't post my video blog from this computer. It will be back tomorrow.
We have been having a great time! We just came back from a night bush walk and laying on the ground and watching the stars. We visited a cool waterfall today which will be on tomorrow's blog.
I think Chie and Madoka have had a good time with my brother and his family. I love watching the interation between the cultures. I think Japanese are are very good at "connecting" with people. My brother's family really got on well with the girls. It is great that language differences don't have to stop good communication if our hearts are in it. Visiting a place and not connecting with the people their is sad I think. What has been your experience of connecting with people of another culture and language? Was it difficult? Easier or harder than you expected?
Does everyone understand the meaning of "connected" when used like it is above?
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
See you tomorrow.
Roger
